As audiences demand better and more diverse representation in the fictions they consume, there is a question of how that should be placed on fiction creators. In this article, I answer by arguing creators have hermeneutical responsibility to include characters their creations, do so without relying harmful stereotypes. cast as epistemic virtue due diligence, offset laziness paralysis corresponding vices absence excess, respectively.
